Floeur Alder, THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD, solo dance performance, Sunday 1 Sep 2023, Donnelly River Village

Join dance artist-in-residence at Donnelly River, Floeur Alder, as she shares a work-in-progress of her solo dance piece, developed during her time living and creating in the village.

Over 14 days in Donnelly River Village, Flouer Alder collaborated with artists Phillippa Clark, Matthew Morris, and Korin Gath to create a unique performance.

Inspired by the village’s history and wildlife, and seeing the forest through the eyes of a child, they used dance and improvisation to capture the untamed joy and boundless imagination of childhood.

This roving installation will guide the audience through a beautiful section of Donnelly River. (Not too much walking involved!).

The audience is invited to meet at 5:15pm at the Donnelly River Village General Store to begin a journey through the forest that will conclude at the Workers Club for a final showing and a Q&A with the artists.

This is a free event, and the audience can choose to walk or drive between locations.
